      -Small company events for employees - A small bonus toward the end of the year -HSA benefit

      Cons

      Insurance is horrible, they have high deductible plans that keeps employees in debt because WellStar does not pay their employees good. They are the lowest paying healthcare system in the Atlanta area. For non-clinical employees, there is no way to move up within the company. No opportunities for development. Just earned my Master degree and I can't utilize it. I've worked at two different locations and its the same problems. Other employees just sit around and gossip about others not getting any work done. I've reached out to management about my issues but nothing has changed.

      Work life balance and great patients Nice new facilities Great weight loss program Free lunches great Physicians and hard working staff!

      Cons

      Very racist corporation that hides behind convoluted guidelines they do not follow. They tolerate harassment in the work place and lack diversity in management and leadership. Directors are shady and HR is not monitoring the lack of legality around terminations. Pay is ridiculously low and their equity compensations are Not comparable to metro Atlanta. Ignorant leadership. Why do you hire Directors who have no experience in the field they govern? Good ole boy system. Might as well be 1969 instead of 2019.

      Staff and surgeons . Commute to work.

      I worked for Wellstar for almost 5 years before deciding to interview, and later accept a position at another hospital. I make 4-5$ more per hour and am more appreciated at my new employment.
