Thank you for recognizing our mission and our residents as positives. Our mission drives everything we do and motivates us to provide life-changing programming to those we serve. We are grateful to the residents, clients, and families who have placed their trust in us for 72 years! Stronger retention rates are always a goal. We are proud that we are headed in the right direction. Our expectations are high, and sometimes team members simply are not a fit and decide to seek an opportunity that better meets their needs and goals. With regard to our time-off policy, we made changes three years ago to address those practices, and the changes opened up significant flexibility and generous time off for many individuals – not only for their own needs, but to facilitate their being away from work for family members who may need their support as well. Thank you for the time you gave us, and we wish you all the best.

Wonderful staff and residents make it a lot of fun.

Cons

Ridiculous standards make for a really hard culture and some of the demands are very difficult leaving a zero for work/life balance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate the time you devote to our residents, and are glad that your relationships with them bring you joy! Achieving work-life balance can be challenging. As a health and well-being organization, we offer team member programming designed to decrease stress, “disconnect,” and enhance wellness. We encourage you, first, to make sure your leader is aware of your concerns regarding your workload. Second, we hope you will take care of YOU by taking advantage of the programming at your community that is designed to help us all achieve balance in our lives. Thank you for all you do for WesleyLife!

Pros

The only good thing about working for wesley life is there benefits package that’s it.

Cons

Your treated horribly from other staff members and management. The environment feels as if you are in a high school setting but with so called adults. Every other department try’s to turn you in for every little thing they over hear or see. It’s each department out for themselves there’s NO TEAM WORK!!!. The residents were not cared for the way they should have been. And the most important part Don’t EVER bring your family member there to live find somewhere else or keep them at home and get in home care if you can afford it. Everyone there like myself and a lot of others have recently quit do to these problems and others. They don’t have many staff members left that should tell them something. And the administration was a joke get your CNA licenses renewed and get your bottom back out on the floor and see what it was like for us to do the dirty work and see if you can get everyone up in the time you demand with the horrible equipment that was given to us and the 7 minute per resident rule who gets there own self ready in the morning in 7 minutes what a joke.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Our goal at Park Centre is always to exceed expectations, and in this case, we obviously did not. We are sorry your experience as a team member was not what you, or we, hoped it would be. With true transparency, I will share that we are aware of our challenges and we know we need to do better. Our location has been through a significant amount of leadership change which is difficult on a work environment. As the new executive director, I have recognized that we need to work differently and better as a leadership team to create the work experience we want and need to offer to our team. It is important we create a positive culture and it will take every team member and every leader working together to create that for ourselves. I hope you'll reach out to me personally so we can resolve any outstanding issues. I would be happy to also share my plan for change. Please call or email using the contact information below. Best wishes to you, and I hope to hear from you. Shannon Minshall Executive Director, Park Centre Sminshall@wesleylife.org 641-791-5000
