      Pros

      The company has a strong financial standing and is one of the leader in its business domain. Very stable company where employees are given due respect and recognition.

      Cons

      The Compensation growth is very slow and the annual review process of employee's performance is not as objective as it can be.

      Pros

      MeadWestvaco is a great company to work because of the environment it provides to their employees. The freedom of work is great and the only thing that matters is your performance.

      Cons

      There is limited growth oppurtunities for an IT professional than one would expect. The reason for that may be the nature of work that the software professionals have to perform which is consistently simiar day in and day out.

      Pros

      Compensation is very good for the Richmond, VA market. Just moved into a new building in downtown Richmond.

      Cons

      Large, bureaucratic company. Executive management is very "old school". You rarely see or interact with executive management.
