Pros

Since starting with Western National, I've truly felt that the employees here are both dedicated to their work, but also want to take the time to get to know you are. Western is a growing company, so there are a lot of opportunities for input on process improvement and new ideas feel welcomed to support the growth. There are also so many employee recognition and social events, wellness initiatives, company updates, and volunteer opportunities which shows the company cares more than just the day to day work at your desk.

Cons

This is not necessarily a con, however, as with any growing organization, there are a lot of areas that are changing from structure to software, etc. I think any new or current employees need to be both open minded and patient as the company evolves!

The Power of Nice

Pros

I have seen more than a few employees come and go that underestimated the fact that this company has discerning and caring management. Having said that, I realize that most companies are out to make money, and if you are not caring and discerning yourself (hence the power of nice), you might not make it here.

Cons

None that I can think of.

The way we work has changed due in large part to COVID-19. This health crisis has caused us to rethink how work gets done. We offer hybrid and fully remote workweeks to many of our non-client facing employees, as approved by a manager.
