Pros

Good company and nice people. I wager the company's future has a positive outlook. The work is challenging, in a good way.

Cons

The technology is severely lacking. I'm not sure if the systems or procedures have been updated in decades. The pay and benefits are ok, but some things are lacking. There is limited paid maternity and no paternity leave. Also, there's no sick time. It's lumped into a very limited amount of PTO. Some people can work from home full time, but others can't even when they're sick and it's expected to come out of a small amount of PTO.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We agree about the great employees here at Western National and the bright outlook of the company! The people are a big part of what makes Western National such a great place to work. We also appreciate your notes about where we can improve. While some of our systems have been around longer than others, we have made a considered effort to replace and enhance many of our systems in recent years and have many more in line to be updated. We are excited about the ways these updates will help improve the experience of our customers and employees going forward. On the benefits side, we are sorry our PTO program did not meet your needs. We continually review our full lineup of benefits to make sure they are valuable to all employees. One of the things that makes Western National unique is the ability to carry over and accumulate up to 30 days of ‘banked’ PTO every year so that employees can use their time off in a way that best meets their personal circumstances. We’re always looking to improve, so if you have additional feedback, please feel free to contact us at HRmail@wnins.com.
