Thank you for leaving us a five-star review! At Western National, we truly believe in work-life balance, as we recognize and appreciate that our employees have personal lives outside of the office. We are pleased to read your comments about Western National being a caring company. As you mentioned, we are fortunate to operate in a stable industry, and this stability has given us the means to show appreciation to our employees through various events, gifts, and bonuses. In regard to your comment on compensation, we assess our compensation package and internal equity continuously throughout the year to ensure our pay practices are fair and competitive. Additionally, we do offer a comprehensive benefits package, which combined with yearly profit-sharing bonuses and other bonus incentives based on position, creates our total compensation package that our employees receive for their work. We are always looking for feedback on areas in which we can improve. If you are willing to share more, please contact us directly at HRmail@wnins.com.

We appreciate the time you took to leave us a positive review! As you mentioned, work-life balance is the standard at Western National, not the exception. We understand that in order for our employees to show up as their best selves at work, they need the flexibility to be available for the things that matter in their personal lives. Similarly, we value the individual passions and talents that our employees bring to the organization, which is why we are committed to promoting from within before hiring externally. We encourage you to have a conversation with your manager to see if there are other tasks or projects you may be able to assist with if you feel that your work is continually monotonous. We are always looking for feedback on areas in which we can improve. If you are willing to share more about your experience, please contact us directly at HRmail@wnins.com.

Pros

I've found Western National to be a great place to work in my time here. First, even through a period of consistent growth, it's remained a stable place to work. The leaders are accessible. The company provides career paths for advancement, which I've been able to personally pursue; and I get regular feedback from my manager on opportunities for professional development. Also, the company has good benefits (medical, 401k match stand out) and a lot of employee wellbeing programs.

Cons

The company's rapid growth has led to a greater pace of change in recent years, and that has been stressful at times (though it's good that the company is growing).

Thank you leaving an in-depth review! As you mentioned, we have grown substantially in the last few years, which has allowed us to expand the personal and professional benefits that we offer. With a strong emphasis on professional development, we offer many opportunities for employees to grow, including continuing education courses, career planning, and in-house training. Similarly, we are dedicated to providing personal benefits to our employees, which includes a robust benefits package, an employee well-being program, and more. At the end of the day, we are committed to providing an exceptional employee experience, which we know starts with recognizing the value that our employees bring to the organization. In regard to the company’s rapid growth, we recognize that we are still experiencing a few growing pains. As we continue to grow, the workload will continue to increase in order to keep pace with the day-to-day needs of our organization. In 2023, we had a record-breaking number of new hires, and we have many more positions slated for 2024. Our goal is to grow our organization and number of employees to ensure the work is spread evenly and decrease the stress felt during the busy times. We are always looking for feedback on areas in which we can improve. If you are willing to share more, please contact us directly at HRmail@wnins.com.
