Pros
Pay is solid, not as high as other GCs but that's because their hours are slightly better (still 50 hours a week starting out and worse as you move up). Loyal to their employees, benefits are good and if you stick around you are rewarded.
Cons
Vacation is low considering you have to work weekends and it is completely up to your project manager whether you get any additional time off for working a weekend. Everyone has bought into the idea that you have to be working 50 hour weeks even when there isn't that much to do. There is no tracking of how much time is spent working, I could work 12 hours a day and no one would know and I wouldn't get any reward for doing so. There does not appear to be any formal training for up and coming project managers that actually teaches them how to manage a team of people.
