Pros

Clients -Large firm so there is different expertise for many different kinds of tax issues. Employees - Great for career focused individuals right out of college with no responsibilities.

Cons

Whether you are a employee or a client you are truly just a number. The fees are very high for the work they perform and they might have a senior manager sign the return showing they did the work but really an intern did it. Unless you are in upper management your family and time does not matter to them. They will work you to death and get rid of you when they are done. It is extremely long hours and they do not care about your family or your personal needs. They have the employees fill out surveys said what a great company they are so they can get another award, but everyone is scared to tell the truth. The have competely differnet rules for every level. Turnover is very high.

Pros

Not many but snacks readily available

Cons

They just push work done to Senior and they don't train, they don't care. I put in 70 hours in one week on a job and when you calculate your hourly rate its horrible. They use a lot of Big 4 tactics to try to wear you out and will just replace you with another body. Resources are ok and clients are horrible. If you do try to leave, after reaching manager, to one of their clients they audit, the companies are not good. Partner's yell at managers, managers yell at Senior's, and Senior's yell at staff and interns. Its a vicious cycle that starts at the top and that is why turnover is so high there. No management skills, upper managers are lazy, and no talent development. They can get away with it because they try to promote work/life balance like smaller firm but its not that way at all and they now they can just replace you. Why deal with Big 4 problems at this firm with no Big 4 benefits. Not worth it.

Pros

There are no pros to working here. Management does not do anything. They just push their work down to the senior and email them daily about getting it done while they leave early during busy season.

Cons

Extremely long hour that make the pay not worth it. Retail employees make more per hour. Managers make it tough for talent to stay, leading to high turnover.
