Beware M&A

Pros

Good lower level team members that care for you and try to help you improve.

Cons

No clear guidelines or expectations. Single partner groups destroy they’re own practices by getting to much power. Completely miss how they treat people. Will run off entire group.

Excellent work product and talent are paramount to the success of a growing M&A practice. Quality control is of absolute importance and is top priority in regards to client service. It is also important to note that we do not have any single partner groups within our firm. All partners and leadership work together to support our clients and employees.

Pros

Decent pay, nice team members, good learning experience for you to gain and move on.

Cons

CEO couldn't care less about employees, I recall a time where he stated that maternity benefits were not as important as his retirement benefits and therefore that was what he was concentrating on improving. He said this in front of a group of mostly women so you can imagine what the rest of the company culture is like.

We take great pride in creating a culture that supports our employees and strive to offer competitive benefits for our team members. We do offer a great maternity (and paternity) program in addition to retirement plan benefits. Unfortunately, in this instance, the statement was misunderstood. He stated that although he was closer to the retirement phase of his career, rather than the childbearing years, having a maternity program for our employees was important.
