Underpaid & Overwhelmed

Pros

The company has a great vision, the marketing department has gone a long way improving the way we brand ourselves and the website is awesome!

Cons

The company has a great vision but unfortunately they don't value what drives the company to be successful and that's their employees. The pay is not competitive at all, we are underpaid and yet we are expected to work like slaves and even clean the floors and mirror, bathrooms and so forth. Our DM's still find something wrong with everything that we do, maybe they should hire a cleaning crew like other stores. We can't do everything but the company thinks we can! Also we don't get bonuses or perks they have taken those away from us, that's not fair at all. The most the company gives to us are $5 or $10 Windsor bucks here and there what a great way to show your appreciation. As managers we should be treated like we deserve to, no wonder the company has a huge turnover. The owner needs to realize that in order to keep us happy they should treat us better and compensate us as we deserve.

Pros

The very ONLY thing was the discount. 40% off, not too bad. If you get lucky, you may have a couple pretty cool co workers to suffer with. Clocking out.

Cons

They control how you dress. (which they cannot do, because the don't offer 50% off or a uniform) You make next to nothing. (minimum wage) No recognition for a thing you do.(I know you just made the store $2000 but where's your 3 pieces of jewelry?) Write ups for blinking wrong. Highest turnover (I've ever seen.) No 15 min breaks. ( which is illegal ) Outrageous sales goals You can exceed your goals and receive no bonus/raise etc. Work full time hours with absolutely no benefits (which is also illegal ) Basically the Worst dm's ever. Don't have blonde hair and a size 3 waist? Beat it. Some days your a sales associate the next your a janitor.(Not worth it.)

Pros

40% discount was good. Some of my old co-workers were cool.

Cons

Everything else not mentioned above. We had a very high turnover because once people realize how sucky this company was, they left. Write ups are given left and right like its a piece of candy. I remember a co worker told me she was written up for being two minutes late! My manager got written up because instead of having 4 items on a face-out, there were 3. And yet corporate doesnt wonder why their employees leave? If you dont make you sales goal for the month, you get a write-up. If you make ur goal for the month, you get nothing but the security of your job until the next month. This company is a joke.
