The Seniors we care for and their families are wonderful. Though the pay isn't exactly competitive (less) you do receive a weekly paycheck and their Health Plan is okay.

Cons

ALWAYS,ALWAYS and CHRONICALLY UNDERSTAFFED!!! 2 NURSES and MOST TIMES 3 CNA's are expected to provide care for 40 Residents!!! Though a majority of the CNA's are hardworking,there are some who LACKING in Work Ethics... The computers DONT work ,Only ONE functioning computer for 2 Nurses at any given Unit creating a backlog especially when there is multiple orders to enter. IF you're not scheduled to work a Holiday,be prepared to use your PTO or risk being short ($$) a days pay in your paycheck.

I would say the pros of working here is getting to interact with the residents, having a great management team I can lean on for support, the flexibility they have and the location. THE MASSAGES EVERY MONDAY! Baked potato bar every other month.. The SOUP from the kitchen by Dawn.

Cons

I think at some points we are expected to complete the impossible, but I feel like this is a common theme at most work places. Not ALL the time - just in crunch time situations.
