Pros

Winn is an employee oriented company that takes employee engagement very seriously. They continue to make changes to policies that are beneficial to employees. There are numerous opportunities for advancement and transfers considering the locations throughout the US including Hawaii and Alaska. I started with them in the mid 80s and have witnessed the tremendous support from upper management on numerous occasions both for work related issues as well as personal issues. If you are willing to work hard and have a positive attitude you will likely go far and will certainly enjoy yourself. Concern for their clients and residents is of utmost importance. Joining Winn was definitely one of my better decisions.

Cons

WinnCompanies is in another period of growth. This creates stress on many, however, it also creates great opportunities. If you can deal with occasional stress then you will do well.

Pros

Winn has a very strong and supportive leadership team in place. I have grown immensely as a Property Manager since joining the company. Some of the hardest working people I have had the pleasure of working with in my career. I love that they have the Winn Cares program that is centered around giving back to the community! Great experience with this company!

Cons

Requirements for on-site vendors are very high, some vendors don't want to deal with it. But then again, that probably eliminates vendors that aren't the best to work with anyway.

You can have any career you want at Winn as long as you are willing to put in the effort to master the skills required. Advancement opportunities are regularly available. The quality of the work is high and the caliber of the employees is exceptional.

Cons

Winn is a dynamic, high energy company and is not for the faint of heart. The people I work with are exceptional. Those that are not have a hard time keeping up.
