Pros

Wistia is a truly special place. Everyone is incredibly talented, friendly, supportive, quirky, kind, fun, and creative - those are some of the traits that make up a "Wistian", The working from home and onboarding experience was very smooth for me. The pay is very competitive, and the benefits are absolutely amazing. But above all else, Wistia takes care of their people the same way they treat their customers: with respect, professionalism, and delivering more value than what they ask for.

Cons

I started working a few months ago, and my experience so far has been a net positive. Nothing worth reporting as a "con" that would be a red flag or an issue that made me think "Oh I wish I knew this in my job search process". They are very transparent, and if your values align, then Wistia is a dream company to work for.

Pros

These past few months certainly haven't been the easiest, but every step of the way, I've been so impressed with Wistia's thoughtful and supportive response to everything. It's clear that leadership views us not just as employees, but as whole human beings with lives and families outside of work. For example, not only did they provide face masks for us, but they made sure we had enough for all the members of our household as well as other at-risk family members, friends, and neighbors. I've never felt more seen and more cared for by an employer in the past. I am so thankful to have landed at Wistia.

Cons

It's been hard to maintain our deeply connected community feeling while fully remote. The office environment was so special, that's it's been hard to replicate it remotely.

Pros

Wistia is such a special place. Everyone brings something unique to the office. The team is incredibly friendly and outgoing, the events and benefits are extraordinary, and the environment makes me happy to come into work everyday. Coming from a high intensity sales role, the work/life balance here is perfect. Wistia really looks out for its employees and customers, has two awesome products, and is definitely somewhere anyone is lucky to work at.

Cons

I don't view this as a "con" but some might. Everyone is in the driver's seat of their own career and path here. There's nobody here that managing every second of your day- they place full trust in their employees and everyone has to be constantly driven in reaching their goals.
