I have been working for Wolfe Research for over a year and can honestly say, it has been the best firm I have ever worked for. For the past 30-years, I had a career in law working for large law firms so was new to the financial services industry and didn’t know quite what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the time and interest my supervisors and management invested in my training and in ensuring that I had the tools I needed to get started. I was enrolled into the firm’s mentoring program and had a mentor that checked in on me daily and set time aside to sit and answer my questions which was something I have not experienced at any of the firms I worked at prior to coming to Wolfe. Someone in and out of my department was always willing to train, teach or show me something that I needed to continue to grow in the industry. This is a faced paced work environment, where growth and opportunity is available, but you have to show up, do your job and be accountable and reliable. Wolfe is a place where we are all expected to work hard, but we also play hard. The firm has amazing events in the summer to bring all employees together, whether it’s a Sales vs. Research softball game, the annual Yankee game, our events throughout the year for things like Juneteenth, Pride, Donations for Hurricane Relief, Women’s History Month, National Hispanic Month, the list goes on and on thanks to the good work of the D&I Committee., I am an openly gay woman and when I joined Wolfe, I was immediately met with respect and kindness. As the leader of the Education Subcommittee and member of the D&I Executive Committee, I am proud of our firm. Upper management is extremely dedicated to diversity and inclusion and consistently encourages and reinforces the importance for all employees including senior members of the firm to get involved in the firm’s D&I efforts. Here at Wolfe, we are more than just “employees”, we’re human beings first, we stick together and support each other.
