Pros

High turnover meant I was able to advance quickly I learned a TON from everyone I worked with Senior analysts are smart and driven

Cons

Long hours, particularly in research (though this is senior analyst-driven) Cash equities business is declining (and slowly being automated) Old boys club is strong here, not friendly atmostphere (or benefits) for women Business model of adding new teams each year not sustainable unless the industry starts to grow again

My experience at Wolfe is very different from the negative reviews on here. Colleagues are some of the most intelligent and motivated people I've worked with. The management team is dedicated to bringing in and retaining talent. Overall, positive work culture that focuses on hard work and people development.

Cons

Fast-paced work environment, so not for everyone. However for those willing, you get out what you put in.
