Pros

Overtime… nothing much else really You don’t have to ask for it, its always available.

Cons

First off getting hired here is a struggle even if you have a referral, and they aren’t a prestigious Fortune 500 company to be making you wait months on end Second off, there is terrible communication here. Whether it’s HR or when you get hired and work with engineers. Third upper management is out of touch with reality, they think they’re contributing but they’re not. Fourth, the pay is terrible. Most process techs either have degrees or years of experience working as operators and learning the tools and process. Nobody gets compensated fairly. If you have a degree do not expect to become an engineer. It rarely happens. They’ve brainwashed people thinking it’s a big feat to go from night shift to day shift. If you can’t find a job anywhere else, then it’s tolerable if you catch on quick, but Id suggest looking at the hundreds of other companies in the RTP area soon after as they pay as much as Target or Sheetz Oh almost forgot, the raises are almost nonexistent. You can come in thinking you’re going to be an exemplary employee and do things to get yourself either an engineering position or at the worst a decent raise but you’ll be disappointed when neither happen. Only a certain group of PTs get raises.

Pros

I worked with a lot of passionate experts. The boots-on-the-ground operators are hardworking and kind.

Cons

"We're Expanding" really means "we dont have enough people to do all this work." This company is bursting at the seams. There are people who've worked here for 30 years, and if they don't like you you wont get a promotion. Oh yeah, and a dude died in the building, but we don't talk about it.
