Pros

Good tech stack, people (peer level) in the office, free lunch, good parking arrangement, and rewards are good

Cons

As the title says, it’s like a ship that’s going down and already halfway sunk at that. People are getting fired left, right, and centre, and everyone’s scrambling to mind themselves however they can. Workhuman? Ah, sure, they care more about the work part than the human bit, even if it means grinding people into the ground. You’ve project managers smiling away to your face, all agreeing on whose work’s getting done first. Then the minute your back is turned, they’re out with the knives, trying to get ahead of you. They always keep that friendly, supportive look — like everything’s fine — but as soon as layoff season starts creeping in, they wipe the job postings clean. During the layoffs, they swear up and down that they’ll “support you” in finding something else internally, even though there’s nothing there — because they’ve already removed it all. And the second, the layoffs are over? Sure enough, the very same roles pop back up on their portal — only now they’re looking outside the company. You couldn’t trust HX (their fancy name for HR) as far as you could throw them.

Thank for your feedback. 2023 was a challenging year for us and of course, the wider tech industry. We were forced to make difficult decisions and we have all felt the impact of these. Just to note, the financial position you refer to above was for 2022. We are proud to have a business that is focused on a human centered mission and purpose. That said, we are also a commercial enterprise and as such not immune to external factors and economic headwinds. We are all looking forward to 2024 and moving forwards with a more positive outlook.

Pros

Good benefits and some nice co workers

Cons

I think the customer service team are not treated the same as the rest of the company. I don't think that the same wellness supports are in place. Customer service don't get to go to the same events as other employees as we work in shifts. There is 0 career progression. People working there for 3+ years in the same position. You only get a 30 min lunch out of an 8 hour day which is nuts and no time to decompress. At the moment the biggest issue for me is no plan for work after Covid. It seems as though they do not want people to work from home when this is over but they are going to lose a lot of the team if this is not something they are flexible with.
