Pros

Workiva has a strong user-centric culture that is excellent to work in. In development for instance Workiva encouraged collaborative product discovery in an agile environment. The company values independence, initiative, and taking ownership.

Cons

Just growing pains as we add new employees and develop further as a public company. Otherwise, I did gain some weight from the excellent food.

Pros

I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the relaxed work environment. It was nice not to have to dress up for work every morning.

Cons

As a CSM, you receive extremely poor salaries for the amount of work you do. When 10K season comes, expect to work 60-70 or more hours a week. When you divide your salary by average amount of hours you work as a CSM, you're basically making minimum wage. Bonuses and raises make little difference. I couldn't handle being stressed out every evening and being so dissatisfied with my income.

Pros

SUPER laid back company! Atmosphere is fantastic and everyone treats each other as family. Filing Season perks are amazing! Free food during filing season (catered, I may add) as well as free massages on Tuesdays/Thursdays! Headquarters location has a culinary chef that they hired from Las Vegas and cooks amazing meals every day. The job is fantastic! Great way to network with Fortune 500 companies while gaining experience in the Financial/Accounting world without having to do Financial/Accounting work

Cons

Pay is a little down to start with; would like to see an increase in initial salary. Communication can be lax; while upper management pushes for one source of communication, some departments could careless which makes it hard to communicate between departments.
