Pros

Health benefits are wonderful! You won't find these type of benefits anywhere else.

Cons

You will reign supreme if you are part of the "dynasty families" Favoritism runs deep. The Coaching Tool used to be something everyone followed and now is completely ignored. If you keep your mouth shut, head down, and do as they say - you'll be safe. Compensation is far below the market - for all of WWT's success; raises are far and few. People make up their own titles but they don't mean anything unless you are Director or higher.

Pros

-The company has some very talented people in various roles within the organization (mostly on the engineering/technical side). However, these employees are spread too thin and do the lion's share of the work for the entire company. The average engineer is simply taught to lean on these resources rather than to become self-sufficient. - The company offers several things that are very appealing to customers, especially on the supply chain/logistics side (ITC) and demo side (ATC) - Executive Management Team (Dave Steward/Chairman and Jim Kavanaugh/CEO) are infectious. They believe in the company and are excellent business leaders and all around nice people.

Cons

-The company is not really 'world-wide' despite their name. Having a few employees in the UK doesn't constitute a truly global footprint. -Capabilities are not the same outside the US as they are in the US. -The company is very centered around St. Louis. Further, most of management stems from 1 of out about 5-6 'families' or part of a good old boy network. If you aren't an executive, or haven't been around for 15 years, you are treated like a second rate citizen. - If you aren't based in St. Louis where you can be seen and be a part of the 'corporate culture', you are treated like an inferior. - Company preaches that they are all about their 'culture'; that their 'culture' defines them. However, the culture that I experienced is one of brown nosing and back stabbing. Management has a CYA 'protect themselves and their own first' mentality. Bottom line is don't believe the hype. Just because I call myself something doesn't necessarily make it true. - When I joined WWT, I was told in new hire that 'talent retention' was top of mind to the executive team and that every resignation or termination was personally reviewed by the CEO. I left without a single exit interview (other than my direct manager). Nothing from HR. Definitely nothing from executive management. - "No surprises" - don't believe the hype. WWT preaches that there are 'no surprises' to employees. I wish I could say that was true. However, EVERYTHING during my time at WWT was a surprise to me, including the back stabbing leading up to my eventual departure. - Company refuses to address, much less pay, for compensation that I earned but was paid incorrectly during my time there. When you leave, you get what you get. Don't expect a 'no surprise' company with such a stellar 'culture' to actually pay you what you should have rightfully earned but didn't because of mistakes on their end.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that not all your experiences with us were positive. I would like to try and address some of your comments. In addition to our UK location, we’re proud to say we have almost 200 employees located around the globe in China, Mexico, Brazil, India, Netherlands, and Singapore. We’re working very hard to grow these locations to provide the same services as we provide in the US. We were founded and are headquartered in St. Louis and it’s an ongoing effort to propel our unique culture to all our remote and global employees. With our rapid growth, all our employees are very busy and we are doing our best to hire additional support. I’m not sure why you weren’t contacted for an Exit Interview (it’s an important part of our resignation process) but if you are still interested, I would be happy to speak with you to discuss any concerns or mistakes which you mention around your pay. Thank you again and best of luck with your new career.

Pros

The people below leadership level are amazing.

Cons

It's become just like any other warehouse job. Underpaid and overworked. They give you inadequate support and resources to do your job and you will have to improvise most of the time. This is highly technical work which you are expected to execute perfectly, but with little to no support. Managers will only promote their friends and family instead of people who are actually qualified. Leadership sits at their desks all day long and refuses to actually help. None of them could even help if they wanted because they all were hired from outside the company and don't know how to do anything job related. Favoritism is the foundation of leadership at NAIC1. They ship people they don't like to other buildings with at most 2 days' notice, so be prepared to adjust your childcare and educational schedule in the blink of an eye. They police the floor and micromanage everyone out of the door. All of the tenured and talented employees have either quit or on the way out. The project manager is clueless and only comes around when it's time to complain about something. The last time I saw him, he walked around the floor upset that people weren't paying attention to him and we all got reprimanded for it. We used to be treated like actual human beings. We are now treated like robots. Just parts of the dying machine. If you work here, just remember, you are replaceable and you mean nothing to this company.
