Pros

Health insurance is some of the best available and pretty cheap Culture is great. Worked with awesome people. Nice to be able to switch projects when available 401k match is alright, but vesting time is terrible

Cons

Way below industry pay, especially when they don't have any RSUs to give out. Base pay is significantly below competitors, guaranteed bonuses are non-existent. Paternal leave is 3 weeks, way below other technology companies. Unacceptable

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear that our health benefits package and culture are a positive to the WWT work environment. We understand that compensation and parental leave structures are an important aspect of the employee experience and we will continue to evaluate for competitiveness. Additionally, all full-time WWT employees are offered the same benefits for themselves and their families regardless of their role or their department. All our pay ranges are provided by third party professional compensation organizations and not “crowd sourced.” This ensures we are always staying competitive within the current job market. Thanks again.

Pros

The company prides itself on leading the industry when it comes to benefits but the only benefit they have that does this is their low health care premiums.

Cons

Their PTO and other benefits do not lead the industry. For a tech company, their benefits are below the industry standard. One example of this is that paternity leave is only two weeks long. Maternity is longer. They are not very concerned about equality in this regard. Nepotism runs rampant at WWT. Leadership hires under-qualified friends and family into positions above you. You will notice very quickly if you work here - just looks at people's last names. You are then expected to aid in their training and development. Providing constructive feedback on this or anything else you disagree with leadership on will get you a write up for not embracing change / being positive (company core values) which is cooperate gaslighting. The company says they value feedback, but I found out quickly that this is not true. Middle Management in my experience were high performing individual contributors that got promoted into management roles with little to no leadership experience. Working with them leaves one feeling belittled and exhausted instead of empowered to do your job well. The culture is one of overworking with no boundaries. Employees are expected to work late and are then celebrated in “kudos” e-mails for their “team-work” the next day when they stayed until midnight to do work that should have been better prepped for by other teams we have to work with (this is a regular thing, not a one-off situation). This is embarrassing and toxic, not something that leaders should be celebrating.

WWT hasn’t raised the cost of benefits for employees and their families in nearly 20 years. We regularly benchmark our benefits to ensure we are an industry leader. All employees receive the same amount of parental leave. Medical leave is provided for the delivery of a child to provide additional medical and recovery leave to eligible employees. For clarification on this, please contact the benefits team. We believe everyone should have the choice to work in a place which truly makes them happy. We wish you all the best and thank you.

Pros

steady schedule, decent bathrooms, small snack market

Cons

garbage pay, no consistency between any supervisors, no one is held accountable for anything thus making everybody's job harder, insainly strict attendance and pto polycies. they replaced our insurrance with UMR (unighted) with allegiance.. which is a public aid company. and most of us lost out long term doctors because of it.
