Pros

Good surroundings, nice showrooms and I felt the first few weeks were good. The designer trading was excellent and enjoyed the experience.

Cons

Working hours to long for the pay,l and all the promises in interview over money were a complete con. The place is like a revolving door with colleagues looking to leave all the time. I got sat in an office one day and told to go, yet the previous week told by my Area Manager "doing a great job"? Please do not commit to this company as all they know is fear, bullying and your gone.

Pros

Good looking showrooms Good products Opening hours to suit most customers

Cons

Although there might be a week of training at the Nest, it is pointless unless the store has structure and Chelmsford doesn't Unprofessional managers No real accountabilities 12 month probationary period for designers so no security

Pros

Wages if you actually get paid correctly which is rare

Cons

poor management, wages were never paid correctly, staff do not work as a team (attracts very selfish people), Store manager only works part time hours. Things started out great working for Wren, with their shiny showrooms and friendly staff. In my first month selling I finished 2nd in the store and 6th in my area for sales. Unfortunately before that month was over I had a car crash and was injured. I was told by the store manager not to worry my job is safe. They will find me other duties instead of sales. This is where everything started to go wrong. The customer service for Wren is non existent I found myself dealing with customers from a year ago that no one had bothered with. During my time I had to arrange for a new sink for a customer this got stolen within 3 days, 2 days later I was getting verbal and physical abuse from a customer due to the same person who stole the sink hadn't turned up for 3 appointments with them. Again the same designer changed delivery for one of my customers without telling the, by the time I noticed (I was constantly tied up with everyone's customer service issues training staff that just didn't get how to use a computer repairing parts on the showroom, sourcing various items for customers that had either been skipped or stolen) it was too late to change the delivery back. Of course complaining about this to management would just fall on deaf ears. Which isn't surprising when they mean about lateness but quite often come in 3 hours late themselves, or spend time crying for no reason. Oh and to top it all off I was paid incorrectly on the last pay packet before Christmas. I even witnessed someone getting stapled with a staple gun in the toe and nothing being done about it because 'the guy can sell'. I have never worked for such a disorganised, unscrupulous company in my life. I will not be recommending anyone works here or buys from here in the future.
