Pros

You can use the training and knowledge to move on and go to competitors

Cons

-Overhyped week training course (get treated as if you're in primary school) THE MAJORITY OF THE KITCHEN DESIGNER JOB REVIEWS ARE WRITTEN WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK OF STARTING THE JOB !!!(WREN MAKES IT A COMPULSORY PART OF TRAINING) you will get charged if the customer has to refund items as well as head office mistakes Compulsory overtime Christmas have to work 2 weeks straight no day off and no overtime pay Managers use scare tactics to push you out, will demean you there is a "you will do anything for us" mentality being sacked is pre-planned (they will make sure you have appointments booked in before you go) if you see any red flags in the first week just leave !!!! managers will compare new starters with experienced designers Managers will book customers in on your day off Hard sales environment If managers are under pressure ALL kitchen designers will be put under pressure too The showroom is left unattended without managers, designers have to deal with customer problems. Managers will use designers as a scapegoat to get out of any predicament.

Pros

Okay pay, not too taxing

Cons

No work life balance, terrible shifts, most of them you'll have to work till 8pm. Always working weekends. No flexibility or consideration for people's commitments outside work which negatively affects people with responsibilities - mothers, carers, anyone who might need a weekend or holiday off. Majority of management are men which is probably why NO bathroom breaks are factored in for female surveyors - you will get harassed by admin if you stop at your own house for 5 minutes to pee! Lots of restrictions on when and how much holiday you can take - has to be a certain number of days each quarter and can't be more or less. High targets to make sure you never meet KPIs to get your full bonus as well. Plus they run a competition in your training weeks for whoever writes the best review, I'm pretty sure you win a gift voucher? So don't believe the positive reviews as they've basically been bribed You'll also be tracked every minute of the day and expected to fill in time sheets to account for your every 15 minutes. No trust and no privacy.

Pros

I've been at Wren for almost two years. In that time, I've learnt a great deal and have had the opportunity to work on some incredible projects. Wren provides a challenging and fast-paced environment to work in: If you want to work hard and have great opportunities then I would absolutely recommend it.

Cons

Can be a high-pressure environment (this can actually be viewed as a pro as it helps to build resilience)
