Pros

I don’t need to work there anymore I’ve met some good people and made a few friends Work conditions were good (the emphasis on a word “were”) You can use benefit card to buy antidepressants

Cons

I’ve met some despicable people and even made an enemy I’m talking only about the department I’ve worked in, I’ve seen some beautiful professionals there, probably I’ve just got very unlucky. Though it’s likely that the issues are probably systemic, fish rots from the head after all. Management is aimless, unqualified, the strategy can be described as “we need to run, don’t care in which direction but faster!” What started out as an interesting new experience turned out as a nightmare. My manager was able to turn out the work that I liked doing into the painful burden, I hated every single day, There was an atmosphere of distrust and it seems like snitching was actively encouraged. I’ve went to HR for a consultation (which I’ve wrongly assumed to be confidential) just to regret that later. “Leaders” were badmouthing employees behind their backs. Hypocrisy, attempts to control by fear, I can keep going for hours… My mental health severely deteriorated, physical health suffered as a consequence. I’ve got a literal psychological trauma that I’m still recovering from. Lately the whole situation just went down the drain, benefits removed, multiple layoffs per year, people were lied to with “our branch has nothing to worry about for at least a quarter” If you can’t keep up with your words - just stay silent! I think the company will probably close a few offices during the course of a year or two.

We're sad that your experience at Wrike turned that way. We intend to cultivate a culture that is vastly different from what you've described, and it's sad to hear your experience was the opposite of that. Over the past year, numerous changes within the company may have proven challenging for some employees to adjust to. But we're making every effort to support all of our team members through these times, as our people are the most important asset to the company. If we can do anything to help you, please don't hesitate to reach out, we'll be happy to meet and talk. Anastasia, HR BP, Engineering org

Pros

Lot of effort on the offices for employees and lunch/catering. The people working there are great and smart, lot of things to learn from each other. Events and culture team are putting a lot of effort to bring the team together when Sales leadership is separating them from each other.

Cons

Wrike want to be an enterprise company without Enterprise experience. Lot of manager have no experience outside Wrike, they are growing in the bubble and then teach experienced peoples (no comment available). During the Covid the economy is falling appart in the world and executives are blaming and playing fear on the reps who are not doing the target (even if they were top performer previously). "The issues is alway at the bottom" No marketing strategy in place or late on the market, this is really hard for reps to win a market when they have poor support and no flexibility on model. Also the company is directed from US and developed in Russia, the communication doesn't seems to pass sometimes. To much internal meetings per weeks to listen some controlled information and no transparency. Growing and Winning is also understanding his failure ! so share them with the team and ask help if you have no clue how to fix. No one is more valuable than anyone else, we are all in the same boat.

To the author: Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. Over the last 2 years, Wrike has quickly become a go-to software for fortune 500 companies, thanks to our ever evolving product and world-class strategic sales team. We can confidently say that we are realising that vision, with over 280% revenue growth in the enterprise segment from Q1 2019 to Q1 2020. With 30 years of experience selling in the enterprise SaaS space, our senior sales leadership has led the team in their success. In addition, the leaders of our Strategic and Enterprise sales team joined Wrike with over 20 years of combined sales leadership experience. While many of our team members continue to be successful, we recognise the stress COVID has presented over 2020. For this reason we have made many quick improvements to our sales success culture, including monthly mental health days, transitioning to tracking weekly KPIs as opposed to daily, and introducing our new coaching roadmap for Wrikers who need additional support. While we do have operations in Russia, both our headquarters and our C-suite are based in California. Additionally, we have Wrikers with presence in 2 locations in Europe and 2 in Asia-Pacific, making Wrike a truly global organisation. We value your feedback and would love the opportunity to provide greater context. Please feel free to reach out to one of our HR team members. People Ops Team

Pros

Nice office Supportive team members

Cons

It's disheartening to witness a company resorting to layoffs disguised as Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs). This approach not only undermines job security but also erodes trust in the management. Gaslighting employees by questioning their professionalism adds insult to injury, creating a toxic work environment. When HR becomes complicit in such practices, it further damages the employee-company relationship. Additionally, manipulating compensation discussions is a breach of transparency, leaving employees feeling deceived and undervalued. This deceitful culture can severely impact morale and overall employee well-being.
