Pros

Possibility of working from home.

Cons

You will be micromanaged - you will not be able to use the bathroom without a supervisor or manager asking you WHY. There is a perpetual atmosphere of criticism and a high turn over rate because of that approach. I ranked on the top 7 of the company for a year and I was never recognized for that - instead I was told I should be doing even better. The new Dept director is a JOKE. They Fire people for any reason at all. They can not maintain their call flow and it is almost impossible to put in vacation time because of it. I tried to put in a professional two week notice and I was fired. Their is a LOT of favoritism and management has no real idea what being on the phones is like despite listening to our calls randomly and reviewing us. The quality control is also a JOKE - they are biased and will score you low if they 'feel" like you didn't make the best connection possible. Which is ludicrous because if you go above and beyond and hit all their standards they can still take incentive from you bc you should have done better. They deserve to lose all their employees to better companies who respect workers. Also you are not given more than 5 seconds to notate an acct before you are kicked out wrap and placed on another call. Management has a reputation for lying - we were told for 6 months that quality control would not affect our incentive if would be a training tool. The day it rolled out, it started affecting our incentive. The real problem is that the VP of RSV and the new Dept Managers are out of touch with their employees and also what it really takes to do this Job. I am sad that I had to find another job- I didn't WANT to leave bc in the beginning Wyndham was not like this. When I did try to do the professional and courteous gesture of putting in a notice - I was fired instead. There are better companies to work for don't go here.

Pros

I liked the corporate building in Orlando. Nice view and nice cafeteria.

Cons

Even though I had a well-paid corporate position, the company is very ghetto. There were very few people in these positions who were actually qualified to do what they did. No one had degrees or real corporate work experience outside of Wyndham. The egos were out of control. This can be frustrating if you're used to working in a professional environment with smart people. Management was underhanded, sketchy and jealous of those who possessed real talent and didn't get their start at the Wyndham call centers. Overall, it was a horrible working environment.

Pros

Pay was fair but it came with a price of lying to owners and staying hush hush on upcoming contract changes that was gonna squeeze even more money out of owners savings accounts !!

Cons

The Wyndham Vacation Ownership is built around lies, scams and unethical practices. I worked for the company for slmost 5 years and I seen more heartbreak than happiness. The majority of the owners are elderly. The reason is that their credit scores are the highest. I spoke to many owners who were foreclosed on and filed bankruptcy due to Wyndham lies about cancellation policies on contracts. The owners get back from their so called "Wyndham vacation" only to find that the cancel window for the new 50, 60, 70, 80,000 dollars and even higher contracts that they were all but beat up to buy while there by the sales team, ended during their vacation. The owners sll get the same answer when they call in for help and thats Wyndham won't help and if youu can't afford it you can sell it. Have you seen the resell on timeshare lately? People can't even hardly give them away !!! Shame on you Wyndham ! I hope that all these lawsuits finally go through some day and you get a tsste of your own medicine when have to file bankruptcy yourself !
