      Good pay, nice benefits, but, the economy is laying off workers at the same time.

      Pros

      The best thing about working at Wyndham is the wage/time with your family ratio. They have a very competetive salary while working 30-45 hrs per week. Some other great features are 401k, tuition reimbursement, discounts at hotels/resorts/theme parks/restaurants, dental, health, stock options, etc.

      Cons

      Software and IT department is lacking. A lot of programs, pay plans, etc all are being utilized prematurely before the bugs are worked out. Most informations is shared too little, too late.

      Management is not given a shot at making things work in the sales side of the business. Although marketing on the other hand is never to be questioned .

      Pros

      Wyndham Vacation Ownership is a great place to work. Opportunities for advancement are outstanding, as is the level of professional development offered. Wyndham also provides a good work/life balance, allowing plenty of opportunities for mobile work, whether it be via VPN, blackberry, or just sitting outside working on a laptop, enjoying the sun. Management is competent, and for the most part is focused on improving shareholder value at all levels.

      Cons

      The investment banking community has very unfavorable views on timeshare. It is an uphill battle to pursuade them of the value proposition offered.
