Pros

You have a lot of business lines to sell into. Good LTL network. Pay

Cons

Lots of bosses that smile at you and screw you over. You will have lots of people calling on your accounts that you are supposedly in charge of. They will change your pay and you can do nothing about it once you sign a brutal non compete that they will enforce. They have so call managers that have not sold a thing in years so dont look for help. Do not have an opinion or you will be gone. Also the best accounts are gone, You have 5 to 6 sales persons that will make a killing. You will probably work for your salary. Commission is year over year, So if you make less then the quarter before they will take out money dollar for dollar on your positive accounts. If they hand you a bad account they will ding you for negative money. Salesforce is more important than actual results. If you are a true hunter do not go here. They like account managers.

Pros

-Modern looking office -Nice people (in non-executive positions) -Indoor parking

Cons

-11 hour workday with zero breaks, every day -When heat breaks in dead of winter, you will be expected to put your den coat, hat, scarf on and be at your desk working -High cost insurance -CEO manages by way of fear and intimidation -When interviewing, they sold working with bright, hardworking people in a fast paced environment. Many are bright, the hardworking comes from the very real fear of getting fired. The fast paced is another way to say, putting out fires as a result of inefficient processes, inefficiencies, lack of training/onboarding, and being severely understaffed (due to constant firings and difficulty hiring). -Bonuses are determined by how much the CEO has available and wants to pay out. There aren’t reviews, KPIs, self assessment - you don’t even have a meeting with your manager to review your year. The amount is determined at the top.
