      Pros

      I’ve been in the role for about three months now, and I’m really glad I made the move. From the start, the people have been welcoming, collaborative, and always happy to jump in and help. There’s a genuine team vibe here that makes a big difference day to day. One thing that’s really stood out is how open and transparent leadership is. You always feel like you know what’s going on at a company level, and there’s a clear sense of direction and purpose. It creates a lot of trust and alignment across the board. What’s been most exciting for me is how open the team is to product innovation and good practices. There’s a real appetite for doing things the right way, and people are genuinely interested in building better products—not just shipping for the sake of it. I’ve already had the chance to share ideas and see them taken seriously. All in all, it’s been a great start, and I’m feeling confident about the path ahead. In summary, my list of pros: • Friendly, helpful teammates • Transparent and approachable leadership • Positive, collaborative culture • Strong focus on doing product well • Plenty of room to grow and contribute

      Pros

      Xceptor is small enough that an individual can make a real difference, but large enough to have a global reach across the world's largest Financial Services businesses. I ensure that Xceptor's technology strategy supports the business strategy and vision. My role is both technically challenging and strategically rewarding — balancing application architecture, Cloud Native transformation, platform scalability, and security with real-world client needs. The culture is collaborative and intellectually curious. I’ve worked closely with talented engineers, product leaders, and domain experts who are passionate about solving complex data problems. Leadership is accessible and open to new ideas, and there’s a genuine commitment to continuous improvement: we're embracing the opportunities of AI and have recently implemented a SaaS-first release model.

      Cons

      As with any high-growth company, priorities can shift quickly, and navigating ambiguity is part of the job. The pace is fast, and expectations are high — but that’s also what gets me out of bed in the morning.

      Consistently Good, with Opportunities Ahead

      Pros

      Great people and enjoyable workspaces. Opportunity to learn new skills and tools at a consistent pace. No stagnation here! Excellence is recognised and awarded. Flexible working is great for those with families.

      Cons

      Departments often work in isolation which can cause confusion and sometimes overlap in tasks/lack of awareness of current projects. Often juggling multiple projects with short deadlines and not enough staff coverage.

We agree that we have made big headway with improving our office spaces, and Guildford is next. We have been working with a group of employees to prioritise investment in Guildford.
