      Pros

      - Company is growing quickly, so there is always the opportunity to take on new responsibilities. - Teams are very cross-functional. Work with software developers/machinists/mechanical engineers/graphic designers/product managers. - Work is tangible. Xometry makes physical products and seeing what we make for our customers is always exciting.

      Cons

      - High expectations from management, difficult to "turn off" from work.

      Pros

      The team at Xometry is energetic and hungry to build something great. It creates an incredible atmosphere to work in. There is never a dull moment and new challenges arise daily. When working on resolutions, employees are encouraged to take chances and think outside the box. The problems are challenging but the application is very real and exciting.

      Cons

      Xometry is a young company and moving quickly. If you have trouble in an environment where daily challenges and long hours are the norm, then this may not be a great fit for you.

      Work harder not smarter

      Pros

      - Full of smart and energetic employees. - Lots of work, so a more green person would be able to get their hands dirty quickly and gain valuable experience. - Peers are helpful and are always willing to share knowledge and experience.

      Cons

      - Lots of turnover. On the software team, 10 people have been fired or left in the last year on a team of 25. Majority of software middle managers have left. - Strict no work from home or remote work policy. Strict business hours are held. - Management and employees do not feel they play for the same team.
