Pros

Yardi has been such a wonderful company to work for. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things they do from donating to our communities to paying health insurance for employees. During this pandemic they were able to move everyone remote in record time with a lot of company support.

Cons

Lack of trust/ appreciation for employees from direct managers. Remote work has historically been discouraged because of lack of trust. During this pandemic instead of supporting employees the director of our team harshly said, "Well just be thankful you are all employed and if you aren't you are free to leave." After the team meeting team members walked away feeling unappreciated. Our team is busy and growing so fast on the new platform however this is the quickest way to loose good employees.

We’re happy to hear that you enjoy working in the Santa Barbara office. Thank you for your note and mentioning many positive things about your experience. Our employees are critical to the company’s success and highly valued. I encourage you to reach out to your VP or HR to discuss your feelings and give them an opportunity to help improve the situation.

Pros

corporate culture, travel opportunities, direction to grow, office vibe

Cons

lack of training, heavy learning curve, office politics, software needs to be easier to use/manage like Appfolio; there's too much room for error-(CMS, SiteManager, and Voyager just to send email blasts??) RentCafe ironically fails every two months at my current apartment

We’re glad you enjoyed the culture and office vibe in the Atlanta office. Our eLearning team continuously works on classroom trainings and online classes to help employees grow and we also offer tuition reimbursement which can apply to an employee’s current role or a future career path at Yardi they are interested in exploring. Our Managers and Human Resources have an open-door policy for anyone who wants to discuss their growth options. We with you the best in your future.

Pros

Benefits are good, many of the employees are nice, and I found the work fun.

Cons

Yardi struggles to keep up with managing the modern workforce. Very inflexible on work schedules. No option to work from home if your kids are sick, no flexibility around doctor appointments or any other things that might come up unexpectedly. Not compatible for working parents that need some flexibility.

We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your time in the Raleigh office. We are always looking for ways to improve our office culture and recently added flextime for employees. Team Leaders and Managers are flexible with appointments and sick days. We hope that anyone that does have a situation come up discusses with their manager or HR. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We wish you the best in your future!
