      I wouldnt recommend working here for more than 2 years.

      Pros

      Majority of the staff are great people and its good income for an introductory IT job

      Cons

      My biggest issue is the company does not really teach/train you in useful transferrable skills. you only learn the specific software and there is not a strong training program for customer service. as you promote, Strangely, when an expert is promoted, The Metrics they push are also unrealistic and the company is more like a call center than anything else.

It is surprising to hear that after 6 years with Yardi you did not feel more comfortable sharing your other concerns directly with your manager or with Human Resources. We know the importance of providing a strong foundation for one's role and we offer comprehensive and ongoing training for our Technical Account Managers. In addition, Yardi continuously offers training for those in leadership roles so that our managers have the softer skills and subject matter knowledge needed to successfully mentor and coach their employees. In regards to metrics, our leaders know the importance of things that happen as TAMs resolve cases, such as helping others, building knowledge base articles, and spending time with clients. We appreciate your insight and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

      Get on a good team

      Pros

      Company had a great reputation. Above average pay. Teammates in other states were more helpful.

      Cons

      Team did not accept me. Manager embarrassed me in a Teams/Presentation meeting. Another manager accused me of ignoring her emails but my inbox wasn’t accepting new messages due to their crappy laptop. A tenured coworker was second guessing his work, wasting my time, and setting me up for failure. They kept setting the bar so high that I couldn’t make the numbers.
