PTO accrual, great staff that I was responsible for, decent pay (however, not worth the pay for Supervisor), close to home.

Cons

Lack of good upper management, leadership, new employee training, teamwork, and expectations WAY too high for a 40 hour work week. Staffing levels not safe for nursing or patients

Autonomy, learning institutional nursing, good pay, some nice colleagues

Cons

Managerial staff got away with multiple infractions but not front line staff. As the night shift RN, I asked the day nurse manager to arrive on time at 7:00 am, skip the being 1/2 hr late rationalizing that she was helping staff by bringing donuts, then talking about home/ health problems instead of professionally getting report, bidding me a Good Sleep& her getting on with her day clinic duties. I did the audit for her since she did not have that experience. I always wore professional scrubs and lab coat. She wore street clothes & one day stained sweat pants! Guess who got let go.....Guess who got the promotion.....

I got out before anything happened to me or my license.

Cons

Where to start ? Unprofessional management and staff. No one cares. Management has their "favorites" and if you are just try to do your job, act professional or be civil they will stab you in the back. EXTREMELY HOSTILE work environment.
