Thank you for your feedback. Working in any correctional environment can certainly be stressful. Additionally, the requirements of the position one holds could complicate stress as well. Making sure that all of the position requirements are known, asking others who may be able to assist, and alerting your supervisor/manager are ways that can help elevate some of that stress. As far as conflict, should we determine that an investigation is warranted, anyone involved in said conflict is interviewed, along with any potential witnesses, and appropriate remedial action is taken. Due to confidentiality, should corrective action be taken, this would not be shared with others. We also offer courses on our Learning Management System (LMS) on Dealing with Conflict that are available to all staff levels. Heather Dale, Employee Relations Specialist

Good and Bad

Pros

Improved professionalism at sites. Responsive to client requests (KDOC). Corporate visits sites often. Largest Corrections Health Care contractor in US with vast resources.

Cons

Attendance policy is impossible and holidays are not part of the company's vernacular. Management style is to avoid transparency with employees. Reward for preforming above and beyond is more work. Total devotion to job at the expense of all else is expected.
