Pros

*Decent Benefits *Exposure to many internal areas of the dental business (i.e., manufacturing, forecasting, etc.)

Cons

*Complete managerial disconnect from the top down. *Foul mouthed CEO Dave Sprout is intentionally shielded from the daily and ongoing internal strife and never ending issues plaguing the Young Dental division. *Consistent quality issues plague the dental divisions *Customer complaints about lack of quality and meeting confirmed ship dates result in many individuals babysitting other team members in order to maintain the business and prevent current customers from going to competition *The upper management "team" consists of a few talented individuals who know the dental business, however, with so few talented individuals within the organization, open positions are filled with any knowledge including the skill set needed to make any positive impact *Revolving door in manufacturing as a result in quality problems never being resolved. Management replaces managers with their hand picked replacements with the belief these problems can be fixed *Lack of professionalism from top management; backstabbing of other employees and never ending blind emails going back and forth *Trying to build a portfolio of dental companies that have absolutely no direction once purchased. *Nothing about this company is "Innovative". Competitive product is simply reverse engineered with a new twist and brought to market as the latest and greatest, only to fail in the short and long term.

Pros

You get a paycheck and can say you're employed

Cons

Believe them when they say it's a horrible place. The favoritism is the worst I've ever seen. You can screw up all you want, and it's OK as long as you're the friend of, relative of, or sexual partner of someone higher up. If you're not one of those three things, you won't last long. They refuse to provide the tools and information needed to get the job done, forcing employees to use workarounds that were outdated 20 years ago and making the company look incompetent in the meantime. Stay away!
