Pros

Good experience for people willing to dive in and learn. Great leaders, who work harder than you do. Profitable telecom company with a focus on driving shareholder value. Great products with great service.

Cons

Could use more help--sometimes runs a little lean on staff which causes people to work more than a normal set of hours. Work life balance is a bit tilted to far in the work direction. Could give more shares to more members of the team based on efforts/accomplishments--very open ended and random.

Pros

Having watched the dot com bubble burst, the banking meltdown, real estate collapse, and recession happen all within a decade brings to light a question - who is telling the truth? Zayo is fully transparent - not the story about what you want to hear but the truth about financials, company expectations, culture, financial upside for employees, what is and what isn't good for the company. Those who say the culture isn't clear are mistaken - the culture is clear and if you don't like it at least appreciate the honesty by which management runs the company. Nothing like those out there running companies with a smile and a pat - then one day you lose everything while the golden parachutes deploy. Zayo is a real company full of hard working people trying to make a statement about how telecoms should be run.

Cons

The pros sometimes become the cons - in order to achieve you must execute - to execute requires hard work and dedication. For sure the aforementioned interrupts your ability to relax after hours but that's what drives "us".

Pros

-PASSIONATE MENTORS: Many smart, hard working and talented leaders + individual contributors = mentors everywhere, available to help, across all departments. -CONSTANT CHANGE: This is not a "red sea" but a "blue ocean" kind of company. -BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS: 25 PTO days + 7 paid holidays + Great Health Care (low employee monetary contribution) + Quarterly bonuses + Work from home privilege depending on position/location -KNOWLEDGE: Learning opportunities at Zayo are constant - everyday and everywhere. You will get the best education across all facets of business and the Telecom industry. -COMPANY CULTURE: Zayo has a good balance of industry veterans with lots of experience, knowledge and a willingness to teach, those in the middle of their career (hybrid of both teacher and learner) and young employees fresh out of college anxious to learn and grow. This is a high energy - hard working company. Leadership transparency is very good and this company thrives on open communication among all employees.

Cons

-In order to survive at Zayo you have to want to work extremely hard. This is not a place for slackers. -With any growing company, there is much to be done; sometimes it's overwhelming and yes, sometimes we choose to work additional hours at night or on the weekends. -If you can't check your ego at the door, are opposed or resistant to change then this probably isn't the company for you. -Sometimes it's hard to find the balance between work and personal time.
