Not a progressive company

Pros

Work from home option (temporary however), job openings (although a red flag as so many people keep jumping ship)

Cons

HR leadership is only in it to benefit themselves. Zero transparency to the team, lots of shady stuff happening behind the scenes. No diversity at Zelis, and no evident plan to make diversity and inclusion a priority. If you're looking for a progressive company, this isn't it. No job security. You could be out of a job in a matter of months here. No learning and development set up to train employees on basic job requirements and systems.

Pros

Nice and friendly people, less stress (easygoing environment in nj), gopivot (wellness website where you can earn gift cards from wellness points), summer fridays means you leave at 3 on wednesdays and end of the month lunch in nj. There have been events like a bike race for raising money for nonprofit and ice cream truck. I heard the holiday party was at the Marriott and really nice. This is a job where I come, do work then leave and go home. Also you can work from home which is a big plus. For me, the pay was much better than my previous company and health insurance seems better too which was the main reason I joined.

Cons

Less holidays than other companies, less PTO than other companies, no growth (not challenging), lunch can be shorter so that we can leave earlier, not a lot of the benefits that you get at bigger companies (no weight watchers, no toastmasters, no paying for education, etc). Nonexistent maternity (only 2 weeks or something like that..a joke) and paternity leave. (If you are having a kid, go somewhere else.). Some people are mad about employee of the month in the company and rockstar award in IT

Pros

Come in early and leave early

Cons

Toxic environment due to excessive gossip. Bad culture. No room for growth. A lot of favoritism.
