Terrible Place To Work and Complete Mess

Pros

Office is ok Some ok employees at the organization Never had a late paycheck.

Cons

This is a terrible organization. All the good people left in recent years and the bad ones stayed. I finally had enough with the constant BS, left and received a 50% salary increase elsewhere (competitor) for a much better organization...ZimVie is that bad. So many awful people in the wrong positions. Compensation is low and raises are a complete joke here. There are some very bad people here. Do not consider employment here...keep looking because you'd be wasting your time here and taken advantage of. If you want to succeed in a career in Medical Devices, run and run fast from ZimVie.

Pros

With the proper training, and a decent manager, this could be a dream job for someone. You can make a really good living, and enjoy the challenge of the job

Cons

There was so much chaos when I was there because they split from Zimmer Biomet. It seemed like they wanted to spend a lot of money to show they were doing well, but they weren't. Leadership mostly said the things you'd expect, but it was so difficult to learn what I needed in the field. No communication with my team when I really needed it and criticism for asking questions were the last straw.

Pros

Employees who work here are dedicated and collaborative. Teams are meeting incredible demands. Leaders are trying to make changes to improve future outlook. The medical and other benefits offered are competitive. Great company mission and focus on improving patient lives.

Cons

In order to meet unrealistic goals, employees must sacrifice a life balance. Leaders applaud teams for achieving incredible demands, but do not fully understand the costs involved. Employees are burned out because they are working beyond capacity and do not have time to have a life. ZimVie offers 2 weeks of wellness breaks for salaried employees so it is trying to offer a life balance on paper, but in reality, there is major work that needs to be done here culturally. The recent spinoff combined with layoffs means we must do more with less and it is exhausting and taking a toll on dedicated employees.
