Pros

Your very hands-on with projects and colleagues are receptive to your feedback/suggestions.

Cons

Chaotic timelines and a lot of fire drills. There isn't a good process implemented that makes it easy to go from research, design, and development. Of course, getting feedback on different iteration is lost, so you make changes based on assumptions and opinions vs. users.

- The potential for positive impact to our clients, their employees and guests makes this a unique and compelling opportunity. This is more than just a "product". - There are incredible examples of qualified, contentious, hardworking individuals across the rank and file. - There are a number of fun events to enrich the culture: quarterly communication meetings/lunches; annual holiday party; on-site happy hour; comedy show; going to 5K races w/ co-workers; community volunteer days - I genuinely enjoy coming to work with individuals that retain a family atmosphere while striving to accomplish worthy tasks - Access to incredible technologies in the data sphere - Its cool to receive product recognition from family, friends and former colleagues who start a conversation with "I was at Chili's, saw the Ziosk and thought about you". - Many within the Leadership and Management team demonstrate sincere concern and engagement at a personal level with employees - data! Data!! DATA!!!

Cons

- Still working out strategy and direction in convergence of two challenging environments: restaurant operations and technology. Charting strategy and direction for our clients continues to be a challenge. - It's challenging for new ideas from new people to get traction - Leadership and management need to support core, operational interests more consistently - Being a small organization, upward mobility is limited
