Pros

Nothing notable to claim here.

Cons

The most toxic and egregious behavior by adults I have ever seen. I have worked all over the country, and this place by far has the worst employees and culture. Like working in an abusive family. I feel bad for the people who have to work here.

Pros

Ziply Fiber is almost 2 years old now. It bought out the former company Frontier and turned it profitable. It's trying to come out of start-up culture right now and figure itself out. Essentially lots of auditing, internal projects and external projects, a lot of work and a huge back log. The primary focus will always be fiber expansion and innovation. Teams are really nice to work with. Leadership strives for transparency. I'm working for the best manager I've ever worked for. A really great environment for growth and learning.

Cons

There's a lot of work and not enough people to handle it. Partially due to how large a footprint the company inherited alongside of continually building into new areas as well. I find that other teams often seem overloaded, disorganized, and struggle to find man power to even it out.

Pros

- Job position is a union position - The team and supervisors are nice - The position is work from home (only after being forced to make it work from home because it would have otherwise been a serious health risk for no reason other than "we have always been in office")

Cons

- There is no hiring for this or most other union positions which makes it pretty awful beingleast senior - Set working hours that are based on seniority and a large majority of the shifts being closing, weekends and likely working all holidays - Supervisors are paid to quite literally do nothing. They don't know the job, don't have a firm grasp on policies or processes, and don't know how to help you with any situation directly relating to the job. - CEO and company vision seem to be build out fiber Network everywhere they can which results is all positions paying far below market average

Ziply Fiber Response

I appreciate your feedback. Ziply took ownership of the pacific northwest region 18-months ago and focused on creating a new culture where everyone feels valued and respected. We continue to fill vacancies and add more union and non-union roles while expanding the fiber network. Your experience does not represent the Ziply culture that we aspire to create. I am available to talk off line in person if you would like to discuss further.
