Pros
If you work at the headquarters in Dallas, you will be treated well. The culture is like night and day between acquired organizations and HQ.
Cons
If you're at a company acquired by Zix, they will treat you like dirt. They will remove your access to systems _you_ helped build. As an acquired company, medical and dental benefits were incredibly lessoned with acquisition. A request for a pay raise to compensate for the lessoned benefits was met with disdain. They laid of workers without actually "laying off" with a bogus official letter to put you on "warning" but it's dishonest. The intent is to protect themselves legally. And the CEO is completely oblivious to his junior c-level management's shenanigans.
