Pros

The office has a nice view of downtown. People you work with are good people. Free breakfast and lunch once in a while.

Cons

Management has no structured plan, top level seems to have even more of a disconnect. Company cares less about employee sales and morale and more about the amount of dials you make. You are their dial monkey. High performers aren't given any raises, no growth possibilities within office and salary is way below standard.

Pros

Start-up mentality, constant re-imagining, good size revenue stream, well established. A decent place to gain experience and develop yourself professionally as long as you're willing to do all the work yourself without any direction from management.

Cons

Compensation clearly not competitive, management both senior and mid-level entrenched in old recycled ideas, zero retention initiatives, zero career planning, lack of mentor-ship, lack of holistic incentives and a severe lack of accountability at all levels.

Pros

You can be hired as a Sale Account Executive with zero experience straight out of college. They also do not drug test as a condition of employment which I imagine is a big selling point to some recent college graduates.

Cons

Over half of my colleagues from my training class made it past the first month on the sales floor. Many of them were fired before ever completing training for not meeting expectations. The company culture is weak yet destructive to the individual employee. There are attempts to make the company seem "fun" for young account executives, but these efforts seem very surface-level and do not work to the advantage of employees in reality. The attendance policy is strict, so much so that there is extreme pressure to work even if extremely ill. The management would rather allow colds and flus to run rampant around the office (Portland) than allow an ill person to stay home through recovery. I would not recommend working at Zones.
