Pros

• Talented and passionate colleagues who genuinely cared about the mission. • Cutting-edge product that transformed communication during the pandemic. • Competitive pay and solid benefits while I was there.

Cons

• Poor operational and strategic decisions during and after COVID created instability • Nearly 1500 employees lost their jobs over the past few years despite the company’s huge growth in 2020–2021 • Executive leaders who made those poor decisions were not the ones to face the consequences — instead, it was the employees who worked tirelessly to carry the company through the chaos of COVID who paid the price • Morale declined significantly as layoffs continued, and transparency from leadership was inconsistent

Thanks for sharing this! It’s great to hear you're experiencing a strong culture and competitive compensation. As you've noted, even in high-performing environments, the go-to-market motion can occasionally slow things down. Your perspective helps reinforce the importance of balancing strategic speed with thoughtful execution.

Pros

I like my immediate team. There currently is not a lot of micromanagement (although that seems to be changing). I get to work remotely (again seems to be possibly changing). Pay is decent for this role.

Cons

Leadership seems pretty removed from what it's actually like on the floor & the current realities. Near constant change as far as new products being released, processes changing all the time, new things being asked without things being removed. Forced to use tools that don't work well such as mail/calendar.
