Pros

Enjoyed the individual contributors I was surrounded by

Cons

Upper management doesnt seem to have a clue what's happening in their organization. There was hardly any care given to me or my team. Drama seemed to be more important and also making sure that unique thought was squashed as quickly as possible. Upper manager would only surround themselves with peoplem that thought like them or were 'yes' people. Innovation & dynamic approaches slowly faded away into nothing.

Pros

Used to be some good benefits, but all were stripped away this year. Surprisingly, absolutely have nothing good to say. Maybe free lunch? But those were cut down and the quality is quite on the low end. Big name company? idk Full remote? oh wait they don't let you be full remote either unless you're in a different location

Cons

If I could give it 0 stars I would have. Though disclaimer that this review is catered toward SWE, as other roles seem to have some sort of happiness from what I can tell. Let me tell you, if you want to have 0 work life balance, by all means join this company. I came here as someone new to the field from another company, as I thought joining a big name tech company would provide me opportunities to learn. Boy was I wrong. Depending on what department you are put into, there is a high chance you are put into a 996 workstyle. If you enjoy PM, QA, design, on top of your dev job, this is the role for you because surprise you will do all of them. You will find yourself in a deep hole of tech debt with no one listening to you about these issues, because they want to just keep pushing features. great company if you enjoy the following: * unlimited pto that is actually not unlimited but restricted to regular PTO days without the benefits of regular PTO * standard sick days but actually only allowed to take 2-3 as that is the legal "minimum" * any wellness benefits that provided some type of happiness were stripped * 0 work life balance * 996 workstyle, so easily 12 hour+ days regularly * 0 career growth if you are on certain teams (this I would know as I left my previous company to LEARN a relevant tech stack and advance my career) All they want you do is put bandaids on bugs and push constant features without time to fix prior bugs properly or research and learn new tech. You will be stuck in a doom loop. Oh, one more thing, from my own personal experience from my department. If you do any sort of company survey, be sure to give it full stars or management will instead of taking constructive criticism take it as an attack on them and think of a bad worklife balance rating as there are too many "low" performers and threaten firing/layoffs. I regret ever leaving my last company for this big name tech company that is run by delusional management. Delivering happiness? More like delivering sadness.

Pros

Lunch is good. So is WFH.

Cons

Tired of getting pinged by random people, sometimes at odd hours, no sense of a team so I’m mostly on my own. Doesn’t feel like I’m growing my career.
