Pros

Used to be a good company with good benefits

Cons

They failed as a growing company to scale up, they crumbled up different departments without deep thought, hired too many non qualified people, half of tech support are under-qualified and also rude-ish. Mid management only covers themselves (not all of them obviously, there are good ones), they don't care about their team. I was hired in one team, on my first day no one told me what to do, no mentor for a week, was just wandering around, even more than that - they put in me in a completely different team which caused me to take too much extra time to learn new stuff. Then they started to take different benefits away. Workload is insane, had to work 12-15 hours a day to keep up with the work, no appreciation, no thank you for your hard work. Feels like you are a hamster running in a wheel. No team engagement, everyone is so stressed out, no one helps each other (almost) because they are too busy.

A fall from grace

Pros

Company was great before the pandemic and immediately after

Cons

In 2022, Zoom lost its marbles and the culture completely shifted for the worse. In early 2023, they laid off 90% of the BDR org seemingly at random. Shortly after, they began hiring for the same exact roles.
