Pros

Amazingly positive culture that rewards contribution, collaboration and achievement, and admonishes politicking. Talented, passionate, and motivating management team. Incredibly bright future; it's great to be the winner in the market. Culture that emphasizes professional development. I have full confidence in our CEO and his ability to lead--he has a track record of success at the company and is laser focused on Zozi's growth and market dominance. Zozi is a company that rewards true accomplishment and you get ahead on pure merit--an incredibly healthy culture. Management truly cares about and loves their employees, and career growth is a significant focus. This is the first company where I not only know all 100+ people in the company, I like them as well! Every single one! I would be lucky to say that about other companies I've worked for, and wouldn't say it unless it were absolutely true.

Cons

While so many people biking to work is a sign of those that value a very healthy lifestyle, the bike parking room could be designed a little bit more efficiently to accommodate all the bikes. Unfortunately, many of the negative reviews were written by a few jaded people who created multiple email addresses to stuff the ballot box. The overwhelming majority of positive reviews truly reflects the current state of the company.

Pros

Great work/life balance. Received credits towards ZOZI activities and asked for real feedback on the experiences to share with our consumers. Animal loving office! Regular Cultural events to promote company spirit. Good benefits. Great team of people!

Cons

Compensations is on the very low end of the scale for the bay area which is why the product suffered because they couldn't hire strong leadership. Current leadership is inexperienced and not transparent about the company's struggles. Company made the move unfortunate decision to layoff their strongest asset, the people that were loyal to the company despite it's setbacks. I would be surprised if they can rebound from this. They are trying to restructure with the very leadership that has no idea how to focus and grow a company.

Pros

I wasn't at the company long so not sure if my review would help in anyway. I made a rash decision to leave the company because I completely misunderstood them. In my job search, before I ended up here, I was looking to play a meaningful role at a startup. I wanted to be part of a special team of people working to impact the world in a positive way. I was told a lot of positives about the company, but lots of companies upsell their culture, benefits and team members. And when you show up, you find out they're not who they say they are. Zozi isn't one of those companies. The company and the team are everything they say they are and more, you just have to look deeper and give it time. It's very rare to find that in a company because it takes a good leader to set the tone for that. I read reviews beforehand about Zozi and found the mixed reviews confusing. Why such extreme views? Something seemed off. From the moment I walked in the door I analyzed everything under heavy scrutiny, making sure I held them to their word. The odd thing about Zozi is on a quick impression they may not appear like a fun startup Bc everyone is heads down, working incredibly hard to meet deadlines, but they are truly a great, fun, tight knit, group of people. I know that's the discrepancy in the reviews. I had such an negative impression because I didn't understand who they were. They're kind of hard to read at first glance. They come off very tense and serious at times, but their hearts are in the right place. They want good things for the world and genuinely believe their business will achieve that. The ceo is really good at putting the business first and yet making sure his employees are happy. It may not appear that way Bc he's often busy and sometimes appears stoic, but he genuinely cares about the team.

Cons

Commute can be tough for some people.
