Pros

I've worked at many great fast-paced companies, and my experience at ZOZI has been one of the best. I'm challenged to dream big, take ownership, and make a significant impact on major projects. I feel like my voice is heard, and I'm given a lot of freedom to step up and create more value. As the strategy has become clear over the past year, there is a strong sense of excitement about the future. The growth trajectory is incredible, and there's no slowing down. The people are AWESOME. Super smart, driven, and collaborative. Everyone is just so nice and down-to-earth, to the point where I remember feeling blown away by it when I first joined. I guess I've gotten used to it by now, but this is something really special about ZOZI's culture that I don't want to take for granted.

Cons

The company went through many changes a few years ago during a pivot, which came with some growing pains as leadership built a stronger strategy. This is pretty normal for startups, but it did result in some (mostly previous) employees who had a frustrating experience. Today, the vision and path to success is clear and well-communicated - and I'm very optimistic about the future.

Pros

Free credits to buy gear or activities Free snacks and drinks Can literally work a few hours a day and get by Worked with a lot of great people

Cons

Have to agree with a lot of the recent reviews on here Communication is severely lacking, add a terrible product and you have a team who lacks trust, commitment and will not take their job seriously (half the team is interviewing during work) No clear direction for the company, you can see this in the company meetings, all over the place Most of the employee perks on the company website do not exist - the main floor is not always abuzz, no beers are cracked open to toast the weeks end unless you are on the gear team, getting out there activities are a joke or do not happen, cornhole and shuffleboard haven't been used in months and are covered in dirt/dust, can keep going on but you get the picture SaaS product is very basic, without 3 previously sold accounts to generate month over month sales there would be no sales This company is all talk, bad reviews from a year ago are still applicable I would run away, and run fast if you want your career to keep progressing

Organizational communication was non existent

Pros

I was able to experience and contribute first hand to company successes and company failures, what works, and what doesn't work. That type of knowledge is very powerful for your career. You learn how to be agile, creative, and hardworking for the company's success.

Cons

The communication between departments and hierarchy are poor. This lead to overall frustration, lack of trust, and lack of focus. From my experience, I noticed that higher-ups were very close minded, which led to the same mistakes being made over and over again (ie multiple mass exits)
