Pros

The top two Pros that come to mind are the People at Zwift and the Personal Growth Opportunities: -A truly agile environment and collaborative experience. We are consistently iterating and elevating the experience for teammates as well as candidates interviewing with us. The journey of a Watopian is something that has a lot of thought put into it and we will continue to level up that experience. We welcome your feedback should have an opportunity to interview with us at some point. -The people at Zwift come from all walks of life and are masters of their craft. You will always be learning something new from your peers and different stakeholders you partner with. Guaranteed! You will be challenged to bring your best self. -A humble group of intellectual and physical athletes. There is a good chance you will break bread during a Wellness Wednesday (Or Coffee Zoom these days) with an Olympian or professional athlete during your time at Zwift. You will inherently better yourself as a professional and master of your craft. You may even commit to your first Triathlon or Marathon if you have yet to tackle that step in your life (Or Hackathon, should you lean more towards an intellectual athlete). -You will be challenged to stretch yourself and grow. You will have the ability to contribute and lead projects. Multiple opportunities weekly will be presented for growth to become a more well rounded professional in your area of expertise and explore new areas. Opportunities will be presented to dig deeper in your domain knowledge of something by being ask to lead and teach. Every person on the team is valued and leadership does a great job of helping you explore how to level up your desired career growth plan. -There is a very high degree of empathy for all employees and members of our community. It has been an honor to actively participate in discussions and execution strategies of how the People Team ensures the Zwift community is healthy and taken care. This has hands down been one of the most collaborative people Teams I have been a part of and everyones voice is heard and valued. In the past couple of months we have come together closer in cross team collaboration and have been meeting more frequently. It is exciting to see the projects and hard work start to roll out to the company at large. As of lately our efforts have been warmly accepted and many notes of gratitude have been extended from different teams. One thing you will notice at Zwift, folks will extend notes of gratitude and take notice to the hard work you put in. A truly team atmosphere here!

Cons

No cons come to mind. I am grateful to be part of a team that has come closer together in the past few weeks and months. If I think of one, I'll update it. But for now, no cons.

Pros

Zwift is a cool place to work. It’s certainly had its growing pains but they’ve made a lot of employee-friendly improvements over the recent months. Given all the craziness with COVID-19, they have provided desks and chairs to anyone who wants one at home and added a monthly stipend to our paychecks to cover any additional WFH expenses. In terms of benefits, they have improved a lot since I first started. Better medical plans through HMO and PPO and the company increased their contribution so it’s a lower out of pocket cost for employees and families. The Dental and Vision benefits are pretty good as well. There are a lot of in and out of network options with the out of network options only costing 10% more than in-network places, which is nice. HR also just announced an increase in the Parental Leave Program to cover 12 weeks, which is a huge change and much appreciated/needed. We’ve also received a lot of mental health support options since COVID-19 took over. Everyone has free access to the mindfulness app Headspace and options for free therapy sessions through a third-party. It seems like they are putting a huge focus on employee well-being, which is much needed during this pandemic. And they also gave everyone access to their $2,300 fitness budget because of COVID. This is usually something that can take a long time to unlock if you’re not a cyclist but now everyone can purchase workout equipment for their home since we no longer have access to the employee gym

Cons

Meetings could be a little more concise Company has grown a lot in the past year so it’s getting difficult to know everyone in the office No 401k match Typical growing pains - learning how to work together and communicate after the restructure

Pros

Cool game, free lunch Weds, friendly atmosphere

Cons

Leadership is a complete mess, entirely oblivious, ineffective and occasionally truant Massive lay-offs during a quarantine that has been nothing but beneficial to our growth given the nature of the business No internal promotions, always external hires Everyone is miserable to work here and looking elsewhere Disaster of a re-rog that just keeps spiraling
