Poor feedback culture and communication

Pros

* I think that the Zwift Product is good and I believe it has potential to be great * Some good people * Great benefits, especially around fitness

Cons

* Poor feedback culture - leadership says that they are open to feedback but can't take anything constructive and are defensive. This varies depending on the leader. * Potential to get demoted. I know of people who got demoted during performance reviews. * Engineering Job Family - Unclear expectations set upfront on how to get to the next level in the career ladder, and worse, what a good performance rating looks like. Seems like Management is still figuring out themselves what the expectations are for each level. This makes it very hard to get promoted. * Bonuses were paid out almost 3 months after the performance review. They were backdated, but it also means you need to stick around for that payout date if you want your bonus. * Communication during the layoffs of 2022 was vague, not timely, and with poor change management. Employees got more details from sources external to the company than company leadership. * Two layoffs in around two years. This shows poor planning and strategic decision making by executive leadership.

Pros

Decent pay and passionate cyclists

Cons

This company has no idea what they are doing. They continue to burn money irresponsibly and go through ups and downs of hiring and laying off. CEO is completely out of touch with day to day work and the company is being managed by the CFO who is way over his head. After the last layoff, the CFO decided to elevate all his direct reports to lead other functions (Data, IT, Legal, HR) with no experience to ensure he strategically had more control over the company. They had hired a ceo and new executive leadership team who was trying to clean things up but unfortunately that didn't last

Pros

Fantastic individuals to work with, and always something exciting is being worked on which depends on which team you are on. WFH. WLB was ok not the best but not bad Cool managers who were focused on your career growth

Cons

Don't think about getting a raise, back-to-back layoffs, make you feel undervalued, burnout
