The company boomed a few years ago and is now working to re-brand themselves so when I was there it was in a time of transition.

Good for entry level start, then move on. Some positions have the ability to work remotely.

Overall: Since being acquired by Hearst, it's all about cutting costs, not about patient care. Hearst also acquired companion companies to Zynx, so mergers are inevitable. The founder, Scott Weingarten, sold his interest in the company in late 2012, knowing that this little company would get eaten up by the other Hearst companies. It is on shaky ground at best. A VP is also leaving. Departmental: The morale in certain departments is extremely low. The majority of upper and middle managers are men - there is a clear culture of discrimination with heavy politics. Expectations of employees in certain departments are ridiculously high for the salaries that are paid, adding to an already high stress level. There is no transparency with management. The business model with rah-rah annual meeting, is archaic, as are some business practices. I was surprised by this when I started.

Great people throughout the company who work really hard each day. The company is well run and is very inclusive with the employees.

Cons

The owner of Zynx (Hearst) not aligned with the mission of Zynx. It is not all about making money all the time.
