Hard Work is Rewarded

Pros

Been here for 2 years but it is easy to work with other departments onboarding and training process was good. Technology they are making is cutting edge and people always help when you have questions. If you work hard, you get rewarded. Time off and benefits -especially the 401K are great.

Cons

Med benefits take some time to start initially and a lot of procedures to sign from Quality when you start that take up a lot of time.

Toxic and inexperienced leadership

Pros

The 401k match is actually great. Building is nice.

Cons

Easily one of the most toxic places I have ever worked at. Regularly had my boss scream at me and others. This was common place in other departments too. The culture is to bully people until you get what. That starts from the top with Doug, and trickles down to his managers, all of whom have known each other for 20 years, go camping together, etc. No one in the leadership tree has actually managed people prior to Canfield, and most have not even worked elsewhere period, and it shows. Even with HR, it's obvious when you get a non-negotiable offer which is INSANE and your first red flag. The entire company is run on a skeleton crew, and you have a shoe string budget for any tools you need to get your job done, which only heightens the tensions. You will not get approval for basic stuff you need, like a good laptop and cheap software that would help make your life easier. But leadership will okay in-house developers spending years to update your team's critical software with an update that doesn't work. And leadership will also pay to send you to a client site cross country for 2 hours, and then expect you to red eye home and come into the office. On top of this all, the pay is substantially lower than competitors. There is a reason why the clinical team is a revolving door of talent and most people leave after a year.
