Pros

The staff that stick it out are awesome

Cons

Make sure to discuss the salary very early on. Make specific numbers because the company will choose to make that unclear until the very end of the interviewing process. In which case, they will offer a really low salary. Avoid this company at all costs.

Pros

Get to make an impact in the company itself and in the world with people in need. Get to hear about large customers being developed, the CEO making investor pitches, and stuff like that beyond the limited world of software/engineering, because it's a small office, we work together every day with ops/sales people. Get to work with a bunch of great people who are good at what they do.

Cons

Some noise pollution in office, need to wear headphones to focus sometimes.

As two other reviewers have stated the CEO is blatantly rude and unprofessional. A CEO should be professional and have the ability to communicate in a respectable manner. My experience with this CEO was none the less a waste of time. He spoke like a pom-pass jerk. I could only imagine how he treats his employees. Furthermore, with Care.Coach's turnover rate I would assume any future applicants would tread with caution. This company was built on an application created around 2012 under a different name. I hope current/future investor's look into this CEO's conduct before making any transactions.

This is a self-evidently false review because the claimed "Current Employee" writes that they "could only imagine" how I treat my employees. In fact my records show that this is from an applicant who did not get through the screening call because when I asked why the applicant was interested, they replied that they wanted to shorten their commute. I asked the applicant "Is that it?" and the applicant told me they were interested to work at any kind of startup. I then told the applicant that I was only looking to hire people who have a particular interest in our product/company/mission, and ended the screening call early to respect everybody's time.I try to give direct feedback to unsuitable candidates about why they are unsuitable for our hiring goals, so that they can self-adapt if they so desire, but unfortunately with a very strict screening/hiring process and >100 rejected candidates per hire, even a tiny percentage of these rejected candidates taking personal offense when hearing why it's not a fit apparently results in these kinds of false reviews from time to time.
